Elisabetta Rubini

Elisabetta Rubini founded her own law firm in 1991, focusing her practice primarily on civil and commercial litigation and arbitration, as well as on corporate law, competition law, tort law, media and intellectual property law, bankruptcy law.
Rubini has an extensive experience in the field of litigation, both before civil and administrative courts and independent authorities such as the Italian Competition (AGCM) and Communications (AGCOM) Authority. Rubini acts as a counsel, representing both Italian and international clients, as well as an arbitrator. Furthermore, Rubini also defends her clients in criminal proceedings involving relevant civil and/or corporate law issues.

Elisabetta Rubini graduated summa cum laude from University of Milan, discussing a thesis entitled “Product Liability in the Italian and North American Legal System” under the mentorship of Professor Giovanni Cattaneo, Director of the Civil Law Institute until 1998.
In 1987, Rubini attended a post-graduate course in Comparative Law held at the University of Strasbourg.
In 2008, Rubini attended a professional course in Financial Markets Regulation held at the University of Milan.
In 2011, Rubini attended a post-graduate course in Environmental and Energy Law held at the University of Milan.

Research Activity and Memberships
Elisabetta Rubini has been regularly invited as a speaker to conferences on corporate law and corporate liability, consumer protection, media law and energy law.
Since 2010, Rubini has been a member of the Organizational Committee of the “Annual Conference of Energy Law”, jointly sponsored by the Italian authority for the energy sector GSE (Gestore Servizi Energetici) and Roma Tre University.
Member of the International Bar Association.
Member of the Board of TOG, a Charity whose purpose is the therapy of neurological diseases affecting children.
Member of the Chair’s Office of Libertà e Giustizia, a cultural and political association fostering the values of Italian Constitution.
Member of the Governing Council of AODV231, the Association of the Supervisory Bodies provided for by Legislative Decree 231/2001 on corporate liability.
